Kathy "Green Eyed-Lady"  Scott.  Secretary of District 12 ALR. I've been involved with The American Legion all my life, I guess you can say I grew up in it. My Father was Owen Sailing  Post 148 Commander for many years,  and my Mother was President at the same post for the Auxiliary  for 2 years. I was a member of the Junior Auxiliary  and am now a member of the Auxiliary at Post  88. I am also the medic for our runs. I have a  97 H-D Sportster  883 and I love to ride!!!! Other than  the love for my family , I love that Open road!

Jerry "Redneck" Scott,  President of district 12 and Vice President, Area 3.  I was in the Army from 1959-1971. Took basic training and  AIT at Fort Ord  in 1959. Jump school was in 1959 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Was part of the 101ST Airborne at that time. Then took my cold weather Ranger training at Fort Greeley, Alaska in 1960. In 1961, I received the Expeditionary medal for the Cuban missile crisis. I was at Point Barrel, Alaska at that time.  I went to LADD Air Force Base in 1962 where I went to the NCO Academy.  From there I went to various trainings and schools then went to Fort Polk, Louisiana  in 1965 for jungle warfare. Then in 1965 I went to Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the 3RD Special Forces training center.  In 1966 I went to Fort  Bliss, Texas for special weapons training. In 1967, I went to Hell until 1970. During this time I Receive the Bronze Star, The Vietnam Campaign Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal, and various unit citations. My highest rank Achieved Was and  E-7.  Could've been higher if they had quit taking my stripes away. Then in 1971 I quit!!

I think. Duesnahalfs 80th Ord Batt. 593rd support group to 9th Inf. div also tmp motor pool. got out Feb. 2 77, owed 'em a little extra time, yuk yuk . Any ways that's me .Not a stact troop and not a hero but  I did my job.
